Yesterday’s lineup was able to cash but underperformed overall. The majority of my players had a floor game with the exception of Saben Lee, who scored 34.75 DraftKings points and exceeded 10.8x value. My other two core plays of Kyrie and Jokic also played well. Kyrie scored 43.25 DraftKings points, which is more of a floor game. Jokic scored 58.25 points, which exceeded 5.4x value. We are now 6-1 since writing articles and tonight we have a loaded 9 game slate which starts at 7:30. I will highlight my top stars and value plays to target when constructing lineups.
Reminder: If you have any lineup questions prior to lock, I will be happy to answer any of them if you comment and tag in under the article or DM me @rogersaj07. Also, if you retweet the article and DM me I will send you my player core that I will be locking into all of my lineups.
Top Play(s):
Dejounte Murray: $7,400
This is undoubtedly the best play on the board. San Antonio is without DeMar DeRozan, Rudy Gay, Keldon Johnson, and Derrick White. That leaves Murray as the only true starter left, likely forcing him into the biggest usage game of his career. He’s averaging 36 fantasy points per game for the year. We should see Murray be aggressive in a one-on-one with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Best Value(s):
Lonnie Walker: $3,700 & Patty Mills: $4,300
Take advantage of the Spurs value tonight. Similar to Murray, Mills and Walker should also see increased run with those in health and safety protocols and out for personal matters. Both players should see plenty of run tonight. Walker is the better point-per-dollar play, but it will be very hard to not have this Spuris trio locked into my lineups.
Picks by Position:
PG:
1) Dejounte Murray: $7,400
2) Trae Young: $9,600
3) John Wall: $8,300
SG:
1) Zach Lavine: $9,600
2) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: $8,500
3) Josh Jackson: $6,000
Other Guard Plays (PG/SG): Darius Garland:$6,500, Jaylen Brown: $8,400, Malik Beasley: $6,500, Saben Lee: $3,800, Kendrick Nunn:$6,100, Lou Dort: $4,400
SF:
1) Lebron James: $10,900 (So hard to avoid with his usage and minutes played)
2) Jayson Tatum: $9.200
3) Royce O’Neale: $4,800
(Not the flashiest play, but you know what your gonna get with O’Neale, he will see big minutes and the primary defender for Lebron and can fill up the stat sheet)
PF: (PF is weak tonight)
1) Domantis Sabonis: $10,500
2) Thaddeus Young: $5,900
3) Pascal Siakim: $8,200 (one of the more consistent pay-up options, better play if no Lowry)
Other Forward Plays (SF/PF): Josh Hart: $4,900, Danny Theis: $5,000, Zion Williamson: $8,800, Mikal Bridges: $5,700, Jalen McDaniels: $3,000 (punt)
C:
1) Karl Anthony-Towns: $9,700
2) Jarrett Allen: $7,700
3) Myles Turner: $6,100
Other Center Plays: Bam Adebayo: $9,000, Marc Gasol: $4,300, Wendell Carter: $5,800, Deandre Ayton: $6,900, Justin Patton: $3,500, Drew Eubanks: $3,000, Aron Baynes: $3,300
Core/Lineup:
My core 3 for tonight is Dejounte Murray: $7,400, Lebron James: $10,900 and Jayson Tatum: $9,200. I will take advantage of the Spurs value to pair with these 3 studs. I will also go to the Center for value. There are good value plays at Guard as well. Best of luck on tonight’s slate.
Reminder: If you have any lineup questions prior to lock, I will be happy to answer any of them if you comment and tag in under the article or DM me @rogersaj07. Also, if you retweet the article and DM me I will send you my player core that I will be locking into all of my lineups.
