NBA DFS Picks For DraftKings 3/1/21

We have hit a small rough patch in DFS. My core 3 of Lebron James, Jayson Tatum and Malik Monk played solid. Tatum was the best of the three, and eclipsed 5x value. Had some exposure to Noel who played ridiculous along with RJ Barrett. Rozier and Eric Gordon were major duds which caused me to not cash. We are now 6-4, but we are in a new month for DFS. A fresh start to get back in the win column. I will be highlighting my top studs and value plays for tonight’s 7 game slate. Best of luck!

Top Play:

Damian Lillard: $10,400

With C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic both out, Lillard runs things in Portland. That’s always been the case, but his usage rate has been in the high 30’s consistently since CJ and Nurkic have been out.That monster role has led to Lillard scoring at least 48 DraftKings points in 16 of his last 19 games, averaging 50 fantasy points per game in that span. With Lamelo Ball and Luka Doncic in such good spots tonight, Lillard may go overlooked with his high salary. The Hornets are 21st in the league in defensive rating and rank top 12 in pace. I expect Lillard to score at least 50 Draftkings points and with the highest ceiling of any player on the slate, I will take that lower ownership.

Enes Kanter: $7,200

You may be thinking. What is a 7k player doing as the best value? Yes, Kanter is $7,200 but for what he produces on the floor compared to his salary, Kanter is an amazing value. Kanter is a point-per-minute beast and he should see big minutes tonight. He should feast on the boards tonight against Charlotte. A 20-20 game is very possible tonight.

(Lillard is the Portland Trailblazers. He has had ridiculous usage since CJ and Nurkic went

down. With a matchup vs Charlotte, 80 pts isn't out of his range of outcomes)

2) Luka Doncic: $10,700

SG: (The SG position itself is weak tonight, I recommend playing PG’s who qualify as PG/SG)

1) Victor Oladipo: $7,700

2) Malik Monk: $5,500

3) PJ Dozier: $3,200

(Worth a shot in GPPS with no Campazzo, Harris and Hampton)

(Really like Demar, he should have high usage and minutes with a lot of Spurs missing tonight)

(Plays big minutes almost every game, will need to play 35-40 minutes to keep Pacers in the game, amazing play if Embiid is out)

(Kanter has been playing huge minutes. Kanter is a point-per-minute monster)

Other Center Plays: Myles Turner: $6,200, Rudy Gobert: $7,400, Deandre Jordan: $5,500, Wendell Carter: $5,800, Dwight Howard: $3,500 (Great value if Embiid out).

Core/Lineup:

My core 3 for tonight is Damian Lillard: $10,400, Enes Kanter: $7,200 and Demar Derozan: $8,400. I will be having a lot of exposure to the Portland vs Charlotte game. Lots of strong plays there. I will also be rolling with two centers, either Jokic or Allen, depending on my lineup construction.
