NBA DFS Picks For DraftKings 3/27/21

Was unable to post an article for last night’s slate. On Thursday, my lineup cashed big time with 352.4 DK points. Had to switch off Kawhi since he was ruled out which resulted in multiple lineup changes. My top play on the slate, De’Aaron Fox balled out scoring 44 NBA pts for the Kings. Due to the Kawhi and Jimmy injuries I rolled with PG-13 and Bam which paid off tremendously. I am back tonight for the 9-game NBA slate, there are a lot of players questionable so I will include alternative options if necessary.

Reminder: If you have any lineup questions prior to lock, I will be happy to answer any of them if you comment and tag in under the article or DM me @rogersaj07. Also, if you retweet the article and DM me I will send you my player core that I will be locking into all of my lineups.

Top Play:

Russell Westbrook: $11,000

Westbrook has a hefty price tag in this one, but I’m willing to overlook that if Bradley Beal ends up sitting tonight. Russ has triple-double upside everytime he takes the floor. To top that, the Pistons don’t have anyone on their roster capable of containing him. Lock Westbrook in as the #1 PG play on the slate.

Best Value(s):

Nickeil Alexander-Walker: $5,300

Alexander-Walker has been outstanding while filling in for the injured Lonzo Ball over the last couple of games. Lonzo Ball did not end up being traded during Thursday’s trade deadline. This hurts NAW’s season-long value but I will continue to play him while Ball is sidelined. He’s scored 30 or more Draftkings points in three of his last five games and should see high 20’s to low 30’s minutes tonight.

Dennis Smith Jr: $4,800

With Delon Wright being shipped out to Sacramento, DSJ should reassume his role as Detroit’s starting PG. While Wright was sidelined, DSJ averaged 28 DK points per game in his seven starts. In those starts, he only played low 20’s minutes which makes DSJ even more intriguing at this price tag. The matchup is great too.

Picks by Position:

PG:

1) Russell Westbrook: $11,000

2) Ben Simmons: $8,800

3) De'Aaron Fox: $9,000

SG:

1) Paul George: $8,300 (One of the best plays if Kawhi Sits)

2) Zach Lavine: $8,500 (Questionable tonight but is an intriguing play for the new-look Bulls. Salary too low for Lavine’s 30% usage rate and Vucevic will increase efficiency)

3) Nickeil Alexander-Walker: $5,300

Other Guard Plays (PG/SG):Josh Richardson: $5,400, Tyrese Haliburton: $6,200, Malik Beasley: $6,800, Eric Bledsoe: $4,400, Jalen Brunson: $4,200

SF:

1) Tobias Harris: $8,800

2) Jerami Grant: $7,600

3) Garrison Mathews: $3,100 (SF is relatively weak tonight, so going minimum salary at the position may be a good strategy. Matthews will play solid minutes and will easily eclipse 5x value)

PF:

1) Jayson Tatum: $8,400

2) Thanasis Antetokounmpo: $3,000 (Even better if he gets the start)

3) Julius Randle: $10,200

Other Forward Plays (SF/PF): Keldon Johnson: $5,500,RJ Barrett: $7,000, Buddy Hield: $6,700, Rui Hachimura: $5,900, Nicolas Batum: $4,100, Marcus Morris: $4,600 (Batum and Morris only if Kawhi is out)

C:

1) Karl Anthony-Towns: $9,700

2) Christian Wood: $8,500

3) Robert Williams: $6,600 (Point per Minute Monster)

Other Center Plays: Dwight Howard: $5,600, Al Horford: $6,300, Steven Adams: $4,900, Ivica Zubac $5,900, Jakob Poetl: $5,800

Core/Lineup:

My core 3 for tonight is Russell Westbrook: $11,000, Paul George: $8,300 and Robert Williams: $6,600. A lot of good value out there tonight, with the opportunity for more if players are ruled out closer to lock. I will most likely save salary at SF and pay up elsewhere like PG and PF.

Reminder: If you have any lineup questions prior to lock, I will be happy to answer any of them if you comment and tag in under the article or DM me @rogersaj07. Also, if you retweet the article and DM me I will send you my player core that I will be locking into all of my lineups.

Thanks for reading the article and best of luck on tonight's Draftkings slate!
