Back in the win column after last night. My lineup cashed in both formats (GPP and Cash). I was able to pivot off of D-Rose and Kawhi, which allowed me to get to CP3 and Middleton. Ja Morant was in my lineup and he balled out with 58.75 DK pts which resulted in 8.4x value. My lineup was also filled with value plays like Desmond Bane, Brook Lopez and Monte Morris, who played to their salary. This will be my last article until after the all-star break, so lets make it count!
Reminder: If you have any lineup questions prior to lock, I will be happy to answer any of them if you comment and tag in under the article or DM me @rogersaj07. Also, if you retweet the article and DM me I will send you my player core that I will be locking into all of my lineups.
Top Play:
Stephen Curry: $9,900
I expect Curry to put all his effort into tonight’s game against the Trailblazers. Stephen Curry scored 62 points against them last time. Not Draftkings points, actual NBA points. His opponent is Damian Lillard, who has improved on defense, but can not keep up with Steph. He has the potential to break the slate, in what should be a very high scoring game. I wouldn’t oppose locking Steph and Dame as your two guards tonight.
Best Value(s):
There is great value at so many positions tonight. The Lakers, Raptors and Mavericks have 2-3 value plays each. Players like Talen Horton-Tucker: $3,400, Markieff Morris: $3,700, Yuta Watanabe: $3,100, Terence Davis: $3,400 and Trey Burke: $3,000. My favorite option out of all of these is Talen Horton-Tucker. With so many injuries to the Lakers, someone needs to step-up. Lebron has been doing all the work which has caused some wear and tear. Kuzma has been horrible and Schroeder hasn't provided the spark most had hoped. Tonight is the opportunity for THT to showcase his talents. He is the best value tonight, and if Kuzma can’t suit up, THT becomes a homerun for his cost.
