NFL DFS Picks For Fanduel 9/27/2020

We are back with another day of NFL action! Last Sunday, our main slate lineup went massive and finished in the top 5-10% of lineups due to monster performances from Dak Prescott and Jonnu Smith, as well as solid showings from Zeke and Jonathan Taylor. I have doubled my money through the first two main slates of the NFL season, so hopefully I can replicate that success this week. Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, and many other players in the league were decimated by injury in Week 2, so there are plenty of value options to pick from on the slate, although most of them are priced reasonably. You probably don't want to listen to me ramble on, so let's start the Week 3 NFL slate breakdown for Fanduel!

Jimmy Garoppolo, Drew Lock, Tyrod Taylor

Top Play:

Miles Sanders - $7,400:

It is no secret that Carson Wentz has not played to the best of his ability so far this season. In the Eagles two games, he has turned the ball over 6 times, while only scoring 3 touchdowns. Also, it is no secret that the Bengals have a struggling run defense. For both of those reasons, and the fact that he saw 20 rushing attempts and 7 targets in his last affair, Miles Sanders is my top play of the slate on Sunday. He is going to be heavily utilized as a rusher and a receiver - I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Sanders ends up seeing the most targets on the Eagles in Week 3. I will be locking Miles Sanders into my lineup this week.

Best Value:

Devin Singletary - $5,900:

With no Zack Moss for the Bills on Sunday, Devin Singletary becomes my favorite value play on the slate for running backs. Singletary is going to see additional carries due to the injury, and doesn't face as large of a risk of losing goal line carries. However, I do like Jonathan Taylor substantially better at a $6,700 price tag, I just figured that his cost doesn't supplement a "value" title. Other top value plays include Jerick McKinnon, Darius Slayton, Corey Davis, K.J. Hamler, and Logan Thomas.

Fade:

Josh Jacobs - $8,300:

I love Josh Jacobs as a fantasy running back, just not as much this week. I wouldn't consider him unplayable due to the sheer volume of carries he will get if he plays, but I like the other running backs around his price range quite a bit more (Zeke, Henry). Jacobs didn't practice all week until Friday where he was a limited participant. If his injury even hinders him a little bit, it would cause a pretty big hit on his value for the week given the Patriots strong run defense. You can play Josh Jacobs if you really like him this week, but he won't be in my lineup.
