NFL Week 14 DFS Picks For Fanduel

Last week, our lineup didn't perform up to standards with none of our running back plays putting up desired numbers, and other plays such as Brandin Cooks and Jordan Akins not living up to the hype. Ultimately, the lineup snuck back in and cashed in the majority of 50-50s with a good game from Davante Adams, but overall, I would consider the week a loss. However, coming into Week 14, our lineups have still managed to cash on every single even numbered week. I don't consider that streak to be anything other than coincidence, but it is still a pretty crazy statistic. Anyways, the Week 14 NFL main slate is the largest of the season with a total of 13 games. Due to the large volume of games, the number of players to play will increase, which means that lineups will have more variety than usual. Let's dive into the lineup advice and breakdown of the NFL main slate on Fanduel!

Top Play:
Derrick Henry - $9,600:
Derrick Henry is my top play for Week 14. He is projected to be one of the higher owned players on the slate, but that isn't discouraging me from playing him in the slightest. Just two weeks ago, I correctly identified Derrick Henry as a leverage play and included him in my lineup where he exploded for 37.5 FD points. Although he won't be a leverage play this week, like many others, I have Derrick Henry in a smash spot against a bad Jaguars defense. The Titans should get a lead in this game, which means that Henry will get fed.
Best Value:
J.D. McKissic - $5,300:
With Antonio Gibson being ruled out with turf toe for this week, everything points to J.D. McKissic being the primary back for the Football Team. Peyton Barber may see more carries, but McKissic is going to get a ton of targets with Alex Smith's short passing style of play. While only seeing 5 rushes, he received 10 targets through the air in the Football Team's Week 13 match-up. At only $5,300 with a relatively low floor given his projected receptions, I love J.D. McKissic in cash games this week. Other great value plays include Giovani Bernard, Duke Johnson, DeAndre Washington, Curtis Samuel, D.J. Chark, Sterling Shepard, Christian Kirk, and Darius Slayton.
Fade:
D.K. Metcalf - $8,600:
Looking at the top projected ownerships of the players on the slate, D.K. Metcalf is my fade of the week. Currently, he is projected to be the second highest played receiver behind Davante Adams, and that is not something I want to buy into this week. Just to remind everyone, "fading" a player doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't play them, it just means that I like the player much less than the ownership shows. Metcalf is much less consistent than the top guys in Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill, so I prefer them, even with Metcalf's great match-up against a terrible Jets team.
