I hope everyone had a terrific holiday! There are only two weeks left in the NFL season! It feels like opening kick-off was just a few weeks ago, but we are almost at the point where things really start to shape up for playoffs. In terms of DFS, this NFL season has been AMAZING for me, and last week was no exception as we easily cashed in all formats for huge returns. In the last four Sunday NFL main slates, my lineups have cashed in 50-50s in all of them, and only missed in tournaments and pools once. Also, as crazy as it seems, if our lineup manages to cash this week, then I will have profited on every single main slate that falls on an even week number for the whole season. However, Week 16 is a little unusual for DFS as there are not many high-priced running backs that are in play. Nick Chubb leads the way at $9,000, but the second most expensive option is David Montgomery at just $7,800. This scenario creates for a slate where different building methods are going to be needed. Let's dive into the full breakdown of the Week 16 NFL main slate on Fanduel!

Top Play:
David Montgomery - $7,800:
I was not a believer in David Montgomery last week, but he proved me wrong. He ended up carrying the ball a whopping 32 times and scored 28.7 FD points - his fourth consecutive game with over 20. This week, the Bears will face-off against a Jaguars team that is doing whatever they can to lose. They are ranked dead last in total defense and 30th against the run, so another David Montgomery carry-fest is likely.
Best Value:
Darrell Henderson - $5,600:
The Seattle defense has played better as of late, but they are still by no means a good unit. I like the Rams players as fantasy options this week with a particular interest in Darrell Henderson since Cam Akers has been ruled out. Sean McVay said that he plans for both Henderson and Malcolm Brown to be "heavily involved" in the game, but I think Henderson will get the larger carry share. $5,600 is a terrific price for his projected output. Other great value options include J.D. McKissic (if Gibson doesn't play), Russell Gage, Darius Slayton, and Donald Parham.
Fade:
Lamar Jackson - $8,800:
Lamar Jackson has picked up steam as of late, but I am not committed to spending $8,800 on him when he will match-up with a surprisingly solid Giants defense. Also, we have seen J.K. Dobbins get an increased number of goal line touches which hurts Lamar Jackson's rushing TD potential. He currently projects to be the second most played QB behind Patrick Mahomes for the slate, and I would much rather pay $400 more and eat the chalk. With respects to their price, I also like Watson, Herbert, and Wilson more than Lamar.
Main Player Pool:
Quarterback:
Patrick Mahomes - $9,400
Justin Herbert - $8,200
Russell Wilson - $7,900
Other great plays: Deshaun Watson - $8,500, Jalen Hurts - $8,200, Matt Ryan - $7,700, Baker Mayfield - $7,600, Jared Goff - $7,400, Mitchell Trubisky - $7,200
Running Back:
David Montgomery - $7,800
Austin Ekeler - $7,000
Darrell Henderson - $5,600
Other great plays: Nick Chubb - $9,000, Miles Sanders - $7,300, David Johnson - $6,700, Antonio Gibson - $6,600 (if he plays), J.K. Dobbins - $6,300, J.D. McKissic - $5,800 (if no Gibson)
Wide Receiver:
Tyreek Hill - $9,400
Robert Woods - $7,300
Diontae Johnson - $6,700
Other great plays: Allen Robinson - $7,500, Tyler Lockett - $6,900, Cooper Kupp - $6,800, Jarvis Landry - $6,500, Russell Gage - $5,800, Darius Slayton - $5,000
Tight End:
Travis Kelce - $8,800
Logan Thomas - $6,000
Austin Hooper - $5,100
Other great plays: Mark Andrews - $7,000, Dallas Goedert - $5,700, Hayden Hurst - $5,600, Donald Parham - $4,200
D/ST:
Steelers - $4,400
Colts - $4,300
Chargers - $3,700
Other great plays: Panthers - $4,000, Jets - $3,000
Core/Lineup: My core 3 are David Montgomery, Darrell Henderson, and Russell Gage.
