For both my mental health and my bank account, it feels amazing to be back in the midst of NFL action. In last week's article covering the Week 1 main slate, I highlighted Justin Jefferson as my favorite overall play and Saquon Barkley as my favorite value play, and they only went on to finish as the WR1 and RB1 of the week. Although both were in my lineup, there were some duds that limited me to only hitting in cash games and large field GPPs. Nonetheless, I am 4 for 5 on the slates this season, with two of those cashing lineups going for over 5x profit. This week is littered with injuries that we don't have all the information on yet, so it is difficult to entirely digest the slate as of now. I will do my best to account for all of those possible injury scenarios in this article. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NFL main slate on FanDuel for Week 2!

Top Play:
Saquon Barkley (RB - $8800) -

Saquon Barkley was my favorite value play of the Week 1 main slate with a ridiculous salary of $6800, and he ended up scoring 30.4 FD points in a resurgence game. Not only did that performance showcase that Saquon Barkley looks like he is fully back to his rookie form, but it also came against a Tennessee defense that allowed the second fewest rushing yards in the league a season ago. Barkley's salary has skyrocketed to $8800 following his sensational game, but that isn't stopping me from going right back to him in Week 2. In the season opener, the Carolina Panthers were obliterated by the Browns running back duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt for 187 rushing yards, so what is stopping Saquon Barkley from doing the exact same thing? This week, Barkley checks all three of the boxes that you look for when targeting a RB stud in DFS; workhorse role (18 carries and 33% target share), strong matchup, and talented player.
Best Value:
Darrell Henderson Jr. (RB - $6200) -

Like my top play of the week, my favorite value play of the slate is a running back, and he resides in Los Angeles. That running back is Darrell Henderson Jr., and he should be able to feast on an Atlanta defense that is unimpressive to say the least. The Falcons allowed 151 yards on the ground in their Week 1 opener against the Saints, and they gave up the sixth most rushing yards in the league a year ago. To the surprise of many people, Henderson out-snapped fellow back Cam Akers 55-12 in the Rams home opener, and it doesn't appear that Akers will steal many touches this week with McVay's post game comments on his pass protection efforts. With a workhorse role likely, Darrell Henderson Jr. is predictably showing as the top point-per-dollar running back on many models this week.
Best Game Environment:
Arizona Cardinals @ Las Vegas Raiders -
Being the only game with an implied total of over 50 points with stable weather conditions in Las Vegas, the matchup between the Cardinals and Raiders is my favorite game environment to stack on the slate. The games 51.5 over/under mark is the highest of any game by 3 full points, and that shouldn't be a surprise since the Cardinals gave up 44 points to the Chiefs in Week 1. I am not opposed to stacking either side in this matchup, but my favorite plays are Derek Carr, Davante Adams, and Darren Waller for the Raiders, and Kyler Murray, Hollywood Brown, and Zach Ertz for the Cardinals. James Conner, Greg Dortch, AJ Green, Josh Jacobs, and Hunter Renfrow are all in play as well.
