With Week 3 of NFL action right around the corner, it is time for another article breaking down the DFS main slate on FanDuel! Although I have gotten out to a strong start to this season, I have yet to have an excellent Sunday main slate, so I am hoping this week will start that trend. There are 13 total games on this slate with plenty of interesting player options across every game. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NFL main slate on FanDuel for Week 2!
REMINDER: RTs on the article post on twitter at @SportsVerseHQ are appreciated, as well as following my personal Twitter @cobioconnell. If you would like to see my lineup package for the NFL season, message me there. Thank you!
Top Play:
Leonard Fournette (RB - $7200) -

Leonard Fournette is my favorite play on the Week 3 NFL main slate on FanDuel. Fournette has yet to find the end zone this season which has hindered his fantasy production early, but he is due for some positive touchdown regression, especially against this Packers defense. Through two weeks, the Packers have allowed the seventh most yards on the ground, so Fournette should be able to take advantage of the matchup. His lack of production has not been due to a lack of volume, as he has already racked up 45 carries throughout Tampa's first two contests. Look for Leonard Fournette to take advantage of his touches this week and finishes as one of the top scoring running backs at a friendly $7200 salary.
Best Value:
*Zamir White (RB - $4600) -

This play is 100% contingent on Josh Jacobs not playing, but all signs point towards a probable absence for him on Sunday. If he ultimately sits out of that contest, Zamir White would be the likely beneficiary as the prominent ball-carrier. At a near minimum price of $4600, it would be difficult to pass up on White in that situation. There is no guarantee that the Titans won't take a run-by-committee approach in this game if Jacobs is out, but that is a risk I am willing to take provided the price, and the touches that White would see even in that situation could pay off the tag. The Titans were decimated by Saquon Barkley in Week 1 and couldn't stop the Bills by any metric a week ago, so the matchup is a strong one for the Raiders as well. Overall, the Titans have allowed the third most rushing yards to start the season. Zamir White is in line to be phenomenal value in Week 3.
Best Game Environment:
Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins -
The game environment that I am most interested in stacking this week is the Bills against the Dolphins. With the Bills injured secondary and two high-powered offenses, this game should be a shootout, and Vegas agrees. The current total for this game is sitting at 52.5, which is tied for highest on the slate. The obvious stack to target is the pairing of Josh Allen with Stefon Diggs and a Hill or Waddle runback, but I don't mind taking the contrarian approach and attacking Tua with one or both of Hill and Waddle with a Bills runback in GPPs. Overall, Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Jaylen Waddle are all elite plays. Singletary, Knox, and Mostert can be used as secondary targets as well.
