In DFS, there is nothing quite like coming off an amazing week. As everyone who played my lineup in Week 6 knows, we almost managed to take down the slate as we finished in the top 50 of 20-30,000 team tournaments for around a x15 return. Through six weeks on the NFL season so far, I have just over doubled my money. It will be tough to reproduce last week's success again for this main slate, but I am just hoping to land in the green. This slate features a ton of potential stack games including SEA-ARI, GB-HOU, CLE-CIN, DET-ATL, and more. There are definitely going to be some chalky plays, but there should be enough variety to distinguish the majority of lineups. I went away from the chalk and it worked out phenomenally in Week 6, but I like the popular plays much more this week. Let's jump into the analysis of the Week 7 NFL main slate on Fanduel!
Injury News:
QB Questionable:
Sam Darnold

Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb, Joe Mixon, Raheem Mostert, Austin Ekeler, Tevin Coleman, Sony Michel
RB Questionable:
Aaron Jones, Justin Jackson, Jeff Wilson

Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, John Brown, Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard
WR Questionable:
DeAndre Hopkins (hopeful), Jamison Crowder (doubtful), Julian Edelman, Curtis Samuel
TE OUT:

TE Questionable:
Robert Tonyan, Jordan Akins
Top Play:
Kareem Hunt - $7,100
Kareem Hunt is my top play of the slate, although I am pretty much locked in on playing Kamara, Hunt, and Bernard. In his first two games without Chubb, Hunt faced the number one and two ranked run defenses in the Steelers and the Colts, which is the main reason for his slower performances in those games. This week, the Browns will face-off against the Bengals, who are one of the worst teams in the league against opposing running backs, so it should be a cake walk for Hunt. I expect him to see over 20 touches relatively easily, and he should be able to capitalize on those opportunities. $7,100 is a great price to pay for Kareem Hunt this week.
Best Value:
Giovani Bernard - $4,800:
There are no surprises here - Giovani Bernard is the top value on the slate. I feel like there isn't much explanation needed for this one, but a starting running back who is going to see a ton of volume against an average-at-best defense who is priced under $5,000, is a near must play. Giovani Bernard is going to be extremely high-owned, especially in cash formats, but I would very much recommend eating the chalk. Other great value plays include Antonio Gibson, Jerick McKinnon, Jamaal Williams (if Jones sits), Deebo Samuel, Mike Williams, Diontae Johnson, Tee Higgins, and David Njoku.
Fade:
Ezekiel Elliot - $9,500:
Last week, I was spot on with my fade of Alexander Mattison, despite him being one of the most heavily owned players on the slate. Ezekiel Elliot will not be as nearly high-owned as Mattison was last week, but he is my fade of the week for Week 7. Ezekiel Elliot should see a ton of volume against a pretty favorable match-up, but I would very much prefer to play Alvin Kamara if I am paying up for one of the most expensive backs on the slate. Not that I am too worried about Zeke, but he did fumble two times in the first half against the Cardinals, and was not given the ball once in a first and goal scenario later on in the game. I project Zeke to be somewhere between RB5 and RB8 this week (not just for the 1 and 4 PM games), so I don't think he is worth the huge cap hit.
