NFL Week 7 DFS Picks For FanDuel

Every day that isn't getting my attention for NFL DFS doesn't feel the same. Luckily for me, and I assume for everyone else who is taking their time to read this, football Sunday is just a night's sleep away. I am currently on my hottest streak of the season, as I have hit in all formats in four of the last five slates (including single games). Also, if Daniel Jones never got injured in Week 5, I would likely be looking at a clean sweep on the main slates so far this season in cash formats (6/6), with four of those hitting in GPPs as well. With a lot of momentum heading into this Week 7 main slate, I am feeling as confident as ever. Like last slate, this one is a little smaller than usual with 10 total games with 6 teams having byes. With Derrick Henry getting a massive price increase and there being a lack of obvious chalk options, the running backs should come in with some split ownership, which I love. Let's jump into the breakdown of the NFL Week 7 main slate on FanDuel!

Top Play:

Patrick Mahomes ($8800) -

ree

I usually give this spot to a running back or a receiver, but there isn't a player that I will be locking into my lineup quicker than Patrick Mahomes. This will be touched upon more in the latter column, but the KC @ TEN matchup is easily my favorite target for DFS this weekend. Neither defense has been able to stop any teams so far this season (ranked 28th and 24th), and both offenses are good, or at least, one offense is good, and one has Derrick Henry. With Tennessee ranked 24th against the pass, I expect Patrick Mahomes to carve them up for a big day. Many people are assuming that Mahomes is having a down year as a result of his high interception total, which may be somewhat true, but he is still the best quarterback in the league in my eyes. He has both a high floor and a high ceiling, with two games over 30 FD points and none below 20, which is a perfect recipe for DFS stability.

Best Value:

Miles Sanders ($5900) -

The best value play is usually a pretty easy award to hand out, but there are no cheap standout options that I can plug in with 100% confidence this week. Usually, the play is given to a running back who is stepping in for an injured player and priced in the $5000's, but we don't have that this week, at least not yet. I debated giving this spot to Jaylen Waddle, but ultimately decided to slightly lean towards Miles Sanders. It is no secret, Miles Sanders has been extremely frustrating from a fantasy perspective this season, and it isn't even his fault. The Eagles have done everything in their power to limit his touches, as he has finished with 13 or fewer looks in three of their last four games. However, Miles Sanders has the easiest schedule left of any running back in the NFL, and Sirianni has openly said that he wants to get him more involved. The Raiders currently rank 25th in the league against the run, so if there was any time for Sanders to get going, it would be this week. I expect brighter days ahead for Miles Sanders.

Best Game Environment:

KC @ TEN -

Kansas City has been in my best game environment every week that they have been on the main slate so far this season, and that isn't changing this week. Usually there is a close contender for this title, but the KC @ TEN game is far and away my favorite to attack in DFS this weekend. I mentioned this above when discussing Mahomes, but neither defense is capable of making a stop, and both offenses can score a lot of points. The implied total for this game is currently set at 56.5 points, which is one of the highest so far on the season. DET @ LAR, the second highest total, is set at nearly a full touchdown less at 50.5 points, with the Rams carrying a large share of the potential scoring burden in that one. I am a fan of attacking KC @ TEN in any way possible, with my favorite plays being Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, and Darrel Williams on the Chiefs side, and Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, and Julio Jones on the Titans side.
