NFL Week 7 DFS Picks For FanDuel

Last Sunday we were able to place in the cash in all contest types on the Week 6 NFL main slate. Although I can't complain about good profit, we still have yet to have a main slate lineup that has multiplied profit by anything more than 3x. Hopefully we can change that this week on an enticing 11 game stretch of games. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NFL main slate on FanDuel for Week 7!

REMINDER: RTs on the article post on twitter at @SportsVerseHQ are appreciated, as well as following my personal Twitter @cobioconnell. If you would like to see my lineup package for the NFL season, message me there. Thank you!

Top Play:

Davante Adams is my favorite play of the Week 7 NFL main slate on FanDuel. Not only is he coming off a 124 yard and 2 touchdown game with a friendly $8600 salary, but he has a dream matchup against the Houston Texans. The Texans are allowing the 11th most passing yards per game, but more importantly, they are getting absolutely torched by perimeter receivers. Through six weeks, they have allowed four 100 yard outside receivers as Pittman went for 121, Sutton went for 122, Mike Williams went for 120, and Marvin Jones went for 104. Davante Adams is averaging the most FD points (17.18) of any receiver on this slate, and he is the leading choice to score the most points on Sunday. He has totaled 54 targets through 5 games, and should be in line for a massive target share again with Darren Waller ruled out. There will be no shortage of ownership on Davante Adams this week, but he is going to be high-owned for a reason.

Best Value:

Dalton Schultz (TE - $4800) -

A tight end in the best value spot? That isn't an often occurrence in my articles, but I am all over Dalton Schultz at $4800 on a slate where the only fully healthy stud is Travis Kelce against a tough San Francisco defense. Dalton Schultz has been fantasy irrelevant while Dak Prescott has been out as he has been battling an injury of his own which has resulted in an abysmal 2 catches for 18 yards across 3 games. It was clear that Schultz was not a favorite target of Cooper Rush's, but Dak Prescott is back this week, which means that his target share should increase substantially. In his only game with Dak this season, Schultz posted 7 catches for 62 yards, which is excellent production for someone of his price. The Detroit Lions are allowing the most points per game (34.0), the seventh most passing yards per game (261.0), and the ninth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends (14.88).

Best Game Environment:

Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Chargers -

Prior to the start of the season, I would not have expected to include any Seattle Seahawk games in my best game environment for stacking, but then again, 2022 hasn't exactly been a normal year for football. Geno Smith has far exceeded any expectations placed upon him leading Seattle to being a top ten scoring offense so far on the season. Although there isn't one game that stands out as an obvious shootout, Geno Smith taking on Justin Herbert and the Chargers should bring some points. Vegas agrees with me, as the implied total of 50.5 is the highest of any game on the slate. Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker III, DK Metcalf, and Tyler Lockett (if he plays) are the only Seahawks that gather interest from me, while Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, Keenan Allen (if he plays), and Gerald Everett are on my radar for the Chargers.
