I ran in to some complications during the Sunday morning of the Week 7 main slate that kept me from getting an official DFS lineup out. Barring emergency, my lineups will always be available, so that problem won't persist. Regardless of that absence, I have been on a DFS scorcher recently with 2x or more profit in each of my last five slates across NBA and NFL. If that trend continues, we are in for a fantastic Week 8 main slate that features 11 total games. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NFL main slate on FanDuel for Week 8!

Top Play:
Derrick Henry (RB - $10000) -

32 carries for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns, 22 carries for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns, 34 carries for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns. Yes, those are Derrick Henry's last three games against the Houston Texans, who he faces this week. Not only that, but the Texans rank dead last in rushing yards allowed per game this season (164.7), and just gave up 143 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground to Josh Jacobs a week ago. This is a complete smash spot for Henry who has totaled 130+ yards from scrimmage in his last four contests, including 22+ FD points in three of those. His ownership might be high, but is tough to pass on one of the best backs in the league who will see 30 touches against the Texans.
Best Value:
Tony Pollard (RB - $6300) -
Ezekiel Elliot is doubtful to play in Week 8, which means that it may finally be time that we see Tony Pollard unleashed. Tony Pollard has been doing the most from the smallest volume in the past few seasons, and this year has been no different. He has only seen 15+ touches once in 2022, and has still managed to eclipse 10 FD points on four occasions. In a situation this week where he should see 20+ touches against a Bears defense that allows the third most rushing yards per game (149.7), Pollard should be able to breakout. His salary is only $6300, which is far too cheap for a player of his talent in this stellar of a situation. Once again, his ownership should be elevated this week, but it is tough to pass on a running back that is the top projected value in nearly every model.
Best Game Environment:
Miami Dolphins @ Detroit Lions -
This is not a week that I am infatuated with one game for full stacking purposes, but stacking is a key component to tournament strategy every week, and there are certainly still angles you can take in that approach. The only game with a 50+ implied total on this slate is the Dolphins-Lions, which currently sits at 51.5 on FanDuel, and that is the game that I would prioritize for stacking. Although the Lions offense has come back to Earth in the last few weeks, they are still averaging the 9th most points per game (24.3), while allowing the most points per game (32.3). The Dolphins are in the bottom half of the league in points scored, but fully expect them to be able to take advantage of the struggling Lions unit. The top priorities in this game are Tua Tagovailoa, Raheem Mostert, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Jared Goff, D'Andre Swift, and Amon-Ra St. Brown (if he plays), but the tight ends (Gesicki and Hockenson) are viable as well.
