The NBA is still adjusting from the week long break with the All-Star competitions, but DFS keeps on rolling. The main slate tonight only totals four games, so the player options are a bit more restricted than usual. As on most slates, we have prevalent news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
LaMelo Ball (PG - $10300) -

$10300 may very well be the peak salary that we see Hornets' point guard LaMelo Ball sit at, but that isn't stopping him from being my favorite spend up play on tonight's smaller four game slate. Ball draws a fantasy owners dream matchup tonight against a Pistons team that only trails the Spurs in points allowed per game, while also giving up the 6th most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards. Match that with pace of the Hornets and we should see a high-scoring affair in Charlotte tonight, particularly on the side of the Hornets. Ball has managed to surpass 47 FD points in eight of his last eleven games, while maintaining a 50.8 FD point per game average in that span. Those totals are indicative of the salary increase he has seen in the past weeks, but I like his chances of reaching 50 again with the Pistons in full Wembanyana mode.
Best Value:
James Wiseman (C - $4800) -
As if they weren't bad enough already, the Pistons will be without Jaden Ivey, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jalen Duren, and possibly Isaiah Stewart tonight, which opens up some much needed value on the slate. Of these value plays, Killian Hayes, Alec Burks, Hamidou Diallo, and Marvin Bagley are my favorites, but it is James Wiseman that wins the title of best value for me tonight. Although he only played 20 minutes, Wiseman drew the start for the Pistons on Saturday and gave them a double-double with Duren sidelined. With Duren and the others aforementioned out tonight, it is expected that Wiseman will get the starting nod again, and he should see more minutes. Although he has not met the expectations of a #2 overall pick, Wiseman has been productive from a fantasy aspect when on the court, even if his play hasn't been ideal. The Hornets are allowing the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers, so expect Wiseman to fill the stat sheet in the time he is given. Load up on the Pistons value tonight!
