We have started to catch fire on NBA DFS as our last four lineups have totaled a 2.5x return on investment. With another attractive slate of basketball ahead, hopefully that streak can reach five days. The main slate tonight is an average sized one with six total games, so there are plenty of intriguing options at each positional group. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Julius Randle (PF/C - $9100) -

On a slate that is filled with stars such as Nikola Jokic, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Ja Morant, my favorite play resides in the price tier just underneath. Proving to be the staple of fantasy consistently as of late, my favorite play of the day is Julius Randle at a salary of $9100. In his last 24 games (yes, 24), Randle's worst fantasy day was 36.2 FD points. Perhaps even more insane, Randle has scored 50+ FD points in exactly half of those games, while only going under 42 points three times. At his current cost, you are looking for just over 45 from him, and that is well within his median tonight. The game total for this matchup is one of the lower ones on the slate at 225 points, but the Magic are in the lesser half of the league at defending opposing power forwards/centers. Also, RJ Barrett is currently listed as questionable with illness, and would provide Randle a scoring boost if ultimately ruled out.
Best Value:
Edmond Sumner (PG/SG - $5300) -
Historically, I have reserved my best value for a player who is priced under $5000, but there is no player deserving of that title at the time of writing this article. If Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan are both ruled out for the Bulls, then Coby White could take over this spot with a price of $4200, but there is no confirmation on those statuses yet. Although Ben Simmons will take the court tonight, Spencer Dinwiddie is unavailable to make his debut for the Nets, and Yuta Watanabe has been ruled out additionally, which means that Edmond Sumner will be tasked with a large workload once again. With a current salary of $5300, Sumner has managed to contribute 37 and 40 FD points across 32 and 39 minutes in his last two, which would far exceed his necessary value output. I would lower his expected minutes and production slightly for tonight, but he is still too cheap for his envisioned role.
