My NBA lineups are starting to catch fire! After posting a near takedown lineup on Wednesday, the lineup last night hit in cash and GPPs once again. Let's try to make it three in a row today! We have a larger slate today with 8 games, and the larger slates are always the ones that I prefer. There is a ton of injury and health protocol news that we are waiting on, so expect the best plays to change, and be ready for potential late swaps. Keep reading to find out my lineup advice for the NBA main slate on Fanduel!
UPDATE: MIN-MEM has been postponed!
Top Play:
De'Aaron Fox - $7,300:
I have had De'Aaron Fox as my top play too many times already this season, but I can't ignore him when he isn't priced appropriately. In all eight of the games where Fox has season over 30 minutes this season (non-injury and blow out games), he has only failed to register 40+ FD points once. At $7,300, 40 points would be terrific value. The Kings do have one of the lower implied totals on the slate, but that doesn't scare me as the Clippers are surprisingly in the bottom half of the league in points allowed to opposing point guards.
Best Value:
Cedi Osman - $5,100:
Similar to Fox, Cedi Osman has been locked into my lineups many times this season, but I will continue to do so as long as he is priced low with the current Cavs injuries. In Osman's last six games, he would have only missed 5x value once at his current price, with him hitting 6x value in half of those games. I expect nothing different tonight with Garland and Sexton still out. I am locking in Cedi Osman once again.
Fade:
LeBron James - $9,900/Anthony Davis - $9,800:
In LeBron's last five games, he has failed to hit the 5x value mark in all of them. He has been extremely consistent at hitting 40+ FD points, but at his price, you are hoping for a median of 50 points, and I just don't see that. Where LeBron has been consistent, Anthony Davis has been the exact opposite. He does have some boom fantasy performances on the year, but more than often, he fails to reach the 5x threshold as well. Due to the boom potential, AD can be played in GPPs, but I will be avoiding both players today, and likely in the future, until they see more stable production.
