Top Play:

Evan Mobley (C/PF - $6600) -

ree

Evan Mobley has seen a price decrease from the mid to upper $7000s all the way down to $6600 for tonight's slate with his recent FD scorings of 22, 32, and 30. Those totals are not the numbers we are used to seeing from Mobley during his stellar rookie campaign, especially provided the fact that he played 37, 33, and 39 minutes in those games. However, those minute numbers are enticing as it shows that he is able to manage an extreme workload, and his production in those games are around his floor. Mobley is averaging just under 1 FD point per minute, and prior to this recent stretch, he was scoring at an even higher rate. Prior to those three games, Mobley had scored 33+ FD points in seven of his last nine appearances, all of which would be 5x value at his current price. The Bulls are the third worst team in the NBA at defending the power forward position allowing 48.61 points to the position per game, so Mobley is in a prime smash spot.

Best Value:

De'Anthony Melton (SG/PG - $4100) -

The Grizzlies have placed Tyus Jones, Desmond Bane, and Kyle Anderson in the league's health and safety protocols, and Dillon Brooks still remains out with an ankle injury. With the absence of these players, other rotational pieces in De'Anthony Melton, John Konchar, and Ziaire Williams will need to step into a larger role for tonight's game. Of those players, De'Anthony Melton stands out as the player most likely to produce based on his 20.1% usage rate and 1.01 fantasy point per minute total. John Konchar and Ziaire Williams remain as excellent value candidates, but on average, they don't produce nearly as much as Melton when on the court. Although Melton doesn't have an elite matchup tonight, the Bucks rank near the league average at defending the shooting guard position, so there isn't a reason to be fearful either.
