As things still stand, there are many players in the league's health and safety protocols, so other players will have to step in and fill the void, creating for interesting DFS scenarios. The main slate tonight is a large one with 11 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Jimmy Butler (SF/SG - $8800) -

Jimmy Butler left DFS owners salty after his early ejection in Wednesday's contest, but don't let that dissuade you from rostering him on tonight's slate. The Heat will be without Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro once again, which means that Butler and Adebayo will have to contribute as the primary playmakers and scorers to an even higher extent than usual. Although this stems from a relatively small sample size, Jimmy Butler is averaging 1.38 FD points per minute on a 25.5% usage rate when on the court without both Lowry and Herro. For reference, Dejounte Murray is currently averaging 1.37 FD points per minute, and he is priced $1500 higher than Butler on this slate. Jimmy Butler was able to score 49 FD points on this same Atlanta Hawks team just one week ago, so the matchup is enticing as well. Jimmy Butler is easily my favorite mid-range spend up of the slate.
Best Value:
John Konchar (SF/SG - $4200) -
The Grizzlies will be without Tyus Jones, Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks, and Kyle Anderson once again for tonight's contest, so John Konchar is expected to resume his position in the starting lineup. Konchar is by no means an elite scorer, but he has the ability to rack up enough rebounds, points, and peripheral stats to create for a safe value play at just $4200. In his most recent contest, Konchar played 32 minutes and was able to produce 27 FD points, which would be nearly good enough for 7x value at his current salary. With only six points in that game, I view that as more of a median for him rather than a ceiling. John Konchar is a safe plug and play salary relief option at either the small forward or shooting guard position tonight.
