NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 1/23/21

For the first time in awhile, we have back to back slates with a good number of games. The lineup on the main slate yesterday hit in both cash and GPP formats, so it was a solid night overall. For the main slate today, we have 7 games with a ton of injury/rest news to wait on. So, as always, the top plays and my player pool will likely change slightly when this news comes in. Regardless, I will try to account for the scenarios we are currently waiting on in this article. Let's jump into the analysis of the NBA main slate on Fanduel!

Top Play:

Luka Doncic - $10,800:

Luka Doncic is the best pay up option on the main slate today. Aside from Jokic, the other top options are risky as Irving, Harden, and Durant all eat into each other's usage, and LeBron and AD could see reduced usage in any given game. Luka is almost guaranteed to see 33+ minutes, even on a back-to-back today. The Rockets play at a fast-pace and are in the top 10 in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, so all signs point towards another Luka smash game. Also, he is below $11,000 for the first time in a few weeks.

Best Value:

Josh Jackson - $3,700:

With Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose not playing today, Josh Jackson is in a spot where he should kill his desired value at just $3,700. 20 FD points would be over a 5x return on value, and his median is closer to 25. The 76ers are currently 22nd in defending against small forwards fantasy wise, so that is even more of a reason to roster Jackson today. He saw 30 minutes last night, and should see similar numbers today.
