I have officially reached my best point of the NBA season so far, which feels really good. In each of the last three main slates, my lineup has managed to cash in all formats. There was no article yesterday as I was busy watching the NFL Conference Championships, but my lineup was posted on twitter for all to use. The NBA main slates have been decently sized for the last few days which I like quite a bit, and tonight is no different as we will have 10 games to pick players from. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's jump into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.
Top Play:
Luka Doncic - $10,700:
Luka Doncic is still under $11,000 with a decent match-up, which means that I will be playing him. In half of his last 10 games, Luka has produced over 60 Fanduel points - you can't beat that, unless you are Clint Capela right now. Also, his second lowest outing in those last ten games is 44 FD points, which isn't value, but is pretty dang good for a low mark. Luka has been my main pay-up play for the last few seasons with his insane usage and low-floor, and that trend continues tonight.
Best Value:
Carmelo Anthony - $4,100:
The Trail Blazers are depleted today as they are still without McCollum and Nurkic, and Covington will be out as well. Carmelo Anthony may very well be the second best healthy scorer on the Trail Blazers' roster, although Enes Kanter has a good argument there. Either way, at just $4,100, Carmelo Anthony should hit value with ease based on the sheer usage he will see. There is a decent chance he hits value solely based on his buckets, so I love him as a play. I would lock him into your lineups, even if it isn't contrarian.
