NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 1/26/22

As things still stand, there are many players in the league's health and safety protocols, so other players will have to step in and fill the void, creating for interesting DFS scenarios. The main slate tonight is a larger sized one with 10 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

James Harden (SG/SF - $10200) -

I don't love that I have the same top play on consecutive days, but James Harden warrants that title once again tonight. Once again, Kyrie Irving will be unable to play since the Nets are playing at home, and they are still without KD, which means that Harden will see a massive workload. When on the court without both Kyrie and KD this season, Harden is averaging 1.55 fantasy points per minute at a 34.6% usage rate. He was able to score 67 FD points just last night in a nearly identical situation, and his salary has somehow decreased further to $10200 on this slate. The Nuggets are allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing point guards, so look for James Harden to come back with another explosive performance tonight.

Best Value:

Cameron Johnson (SF - $5000) -

Although I usually label value plays as those priced under $5000, I had to go with Cameron Johnson tonight, and his salary falls exactly on $5000. Cody Martin would be in play for this title at the minimum cost if Gordon Hayward is ruled out again tonight, but his production has been lacking as of late. The Suns will be without Jae Crowder for their game against the Jazz, which means that Cameron Johnson should see a large uptick in his minutes. In a similar situation on Monday, Cameron Johnson played 38 minutes and was able to produce 34 FD points. That game came against a depleted Jazz lineup, and with Mitchell and Gobert still out, he should be able to replicate his success tonight against the same team.
