NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 1/27/21

As if it couldn't get any better recently, it has. I am on my hottest streak of the NBA season by far, as I have cashed in both cash and GPP formats in five consecutive days! This hot streak was much needed and has increased by NBA profits this season by significant margins after an average start. For the main slate today, we have perhaps the biggest player pool that we have had all season as nearly every single NBA team is playing. There are 12 teams total playing, so the number of good lineup combinations is limitless. Due to that, I decided to add an extra top play for each position for this slate. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.

Top Play:

Jordan Clarkson - $5,300:

Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out with a concussion, which means that Jordan Clarkson should pick up nearly all the minutes that Mitchell would have had. We know that Jordan Clarkson isn't afraid to shoot, so when given a boost in minutes, especially without the team's best player, I expect him to have a ton of usage. In his last seven games with Donovan Mitchell, Clarkson would have hit value at his current price in all but one (a game where he only saw 18 minutes), so imagine what he will do without him. Clarkson is going to be high-owned, but I would highly recommend matching the field and playing him.

Best Value:

Raul Neto - $4,200:

As insane as this may have sounded a little awhile ago, Raul Neto may very well be the second best player on the court for the Wizards today. Russell Westbrook will rest, and seven other players are either injured or on the COVID list, so Neto will get all the minutes that he can manage with his groin injury. He played 22 minutes yesterday, so I expect that number to jump a little bit today. Neto will see good usage as the other guard next to Bradley Beal, so $4,200 is a steal for his current situation. If Neto is still limited and you aren't liking the injury risk, or you need to go slightly cheaper, Jerome Robinson is a great play at $3,600.
