I have fallen back to Earth in the past two days after the huge hot streak that I went on. I can't be mad with how the last two days went though, as you can't win every day. I look at it as a new opportunity to start another streak, so I plan on taking advantage of that today. The slate has a total of 10 games, and there are tons of great value plays, so the combinations of lineups are limitless. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.
Top Play:
Jordan Clarkson - $5,800:
As predicted, Jordan Clarkson erupted against the Mavericks last game without Donovan Mitchell for 43 FD points. Clarkson will have the exact same situation tonight against the same team, so he is one of the top options on the slate once again. I wouldn't expect a 40+ point showing, but that is certainly within the range of his ceiling. Clarkson is going to be pretty high owned in all competitions, but that is for a reason. I will be locking him in today.
Best Value:
Cody Zeller - $4,600:
In the last game for the Hornets, Cody Zeller played 29 minutes compared to Bismack Biyombo's 8. Zeller smashed value with 36 FD points, and I expect him to smash value again at just $4,600. He only needs about 23 points to hit value, and I have his median at closer to 30. Although Myles Turner is having a great defensive season, the Pacers are still in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers. I wouldn't consider Zeller a lock with other good center options available, but he is a terrific play that I like a lot.
