My NBA DFS lineups have been cold the last few days, although the picks I have included in the articles have been accurate for the most part. If there was anytime to end the cold streak I have been on following the hot streak I had, the time would be now. The main slate today is relatively large with 9 games, so there is a variety of options to choose from when building your lines. It is time to breakdown the NBA main slate for today on Fanduel!
REMINDER: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow both accounts.
Top Play:
Jayson Tatum - $9,100:
Jayson Tatum has seen himself as a fade target in my articles a few times this season, but I am all over him tonight. In games where Tatum has seen over 30 minutes of play time (all his games except the blowout against the Grizzlies), Tatum has only failed to reach 40 FD points once. The Celtics take on a good Raptors team, so I expect the minutes to be there. Also, he will see a slight boost in usage if Smart doesn't play, although it will be high regardless.
Best Value:
Payton Pritchard - $3,700:
The Celtics have ruled out Jeff Teague for tonight's contest which means that Payton Pritchard is going to see an increase in minutes. Marcus Smart is currently questionable, and if he is ruled out, it will only create an uptick in usage for Pritchard. At $3,700, he is a must start for me.
Fade:
Jerami Grant - $7,300:
Jerami Grant has seen an extraordinary amount of minutes this season on a bad Pistons roster, and tonight should be no different, especially with Blake Griffin being ruled out. He is averaging about 37 FD points a game which is solid for his price tag, but I still don't trust him to produce over 35 points on a consistent basis. This may backfire on me, but I am sticking to my gut and shying away from Grant at an expensive price.
