NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 10/28/21

I have started my first good NBA stretch of the season! On the last three slates, two of my lineups have hit in all formats where they exceeded the first multiplier in most tournaments. Both of these lineups were on the days where I wrote an article covering the slate, so hopefully we can keep that streak alive with today's article. On the main slate for today, we only have six games, making it a slightly smaller than usual slate. Since the slate is a little smaller, ownership will likely be more tight, meaning that each player decision you make will be even more crucial. Let's jump into my breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel today!

Top Play:

Luka Doncic (PG/SG - $10700) -

The Mavericks will be without Kristaps Porzingis tonight, which means that Luka Doncic will get every offensive look that he wants, even though he essentially does that regardless of who is around him. The Spurs are allowing the seventh most points scored to opposing point guards on the season, so the matchup is also rather enticing for Luka. He has managed to eclipse 50 FD points in each of his last two games, and has generally been one of the most consistent fantasy producers among all the superstars in the league over the past few seasons. Carrying the highest usage rate on the slate, a relatively cheap price of $10700 for himself, and endless upside, Luka Doncic is my favorite pay up play on tonight's slate.

Best Value:

Montrezl Harrell (C/PF - $5600) -

I usually save this position for a player who is priced under $5000, but there is no better per dollar play than Montrezl Harrell on this main slate. Daniel Gafford, the starting center for the Wizards, has been ruled out for tonight's contest, which means that Harrell should see a significant boost in minutes. He has scored 37, 27, and 45 FD points in the three games that he has played over 25 minutes in, and unless he gets into foul trouble quickly or goes down to injury, there is no way that he doesn't reach that mark tonight. With an already high usage rating and fantasy points per minute total, I will be locking Montrezl Harrell into my lineups at an extremely generous price of $5600 with extended minutes.
