NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 11/17/21

With there only being three games on the NBA main slate last night, there was not enough content to cover to warrant an article. On the day of my last article, Monday, I had my best lineup of the NBA season which returned nearly a 5x profit. I was able to cash on last night's low scoring slate as well, which means we are shooting for three in a row tonight. With 11 games tonight, there will be some diverse ownership with plenty of player options to consider. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

REMINDER: RTs on the article post on twitter at @SportsVerseHQ are appreciated, as well as following my personal Twitter @cobioconnell. If you would like to see my lineup package for the NBA and NFL seasons, message me there. Thank you!

Top Play:

Christian Wood (PF/C - $7300) -

ree

Christian Wood has seen reduced minutes in the last two Rockets outings due to blowouts. While there is often blowout potential with this poor Houston team, that is not the case tonight as they play another bottom team in the Thunder. Due to his last two games where he played less than 30 minutes, Wood has seen a price decrease all the way down to $7300. The Thunder are currently the worst team in the league in points allowed to opposing power forwards, while also being in the bottom ten in points allowed to opposing centers. That creates for an enticing boom spot for Christian Wood at a price and situation that is very favorable for DFS purposes. In his one matchup with the Thunder on the season, Wood exploited their defense for a 60 FD point performance. While 60 points is not to be expected from him tonight, it is within the realm of possibility if he has a ceiling game.

Best Value:

Cedi Osman (SF/PF - $4600) -

I was all over Cedi Osman at very low ownership on Monday, and it paid off with a 42 FD point performance that led to my best lineup of the season. Tonight, Cedi Osman is in a similar situation as Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Collin Sexton are all out against Brooklyn. Kevin Love is probable to return to action, but there is still a massive void in minutes that Cedi Osman will share some responsibility in fulfilling. Provided that 30+ minutes is almost a guarantee for Cedi Osman tonight, $4600 is far too cheap for him. When on the court, Osman is seeing nearly a 20% usage rate, which can only be expected to increase with the current state of the team. I will likely be plugging Cedi Osman into my lineup tonight.
