NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 11/24/21

I would like to wish everyone an early Happy Thanksgiving today as there will be no NBA games tomorrow! Be sure to enjoy the food, family, and football! There were only four games on the NBA main slate last night, so the slate was slightly too small to have enough content to warrant an article. The main slate tonight features 13 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

Jakob Poeltl (C - $5800) -

Jakob Poeltl has fully returned to action following a seven game absence due to the league's healthy and safety protocols. Poeltl was limited in his first game back as he only played 15 minutes, but he received his full workload and played 31 minutes in his most recent affair. Poeltl is usually priced around $7000, so his current cost of $5800 is not reflective of his usual role that he should return to tonight. He is currently averaging 1.09 FD points per minute, so his projected median tonight will be above 30 points, which is an excellent value. Both his floor and his ceiling are relatively high for a player with a sub $6000 cost, so I love plugging in Jakob Poeltl as my center. I would also like to note that despite tonight's slate being massive, there are not any lock plays for me as things stand right now.

Best Value:

Corey Joseph (PG - $4100) -

With Saben Lee sidelined the past few games, Corey Joseph has seen a dramatic boost in his play time for the Pistons. Joseph is currently carrying an injury designation with a right ankle sprain, but he is probable to play in tonight's contest. He has played 34 and 38 minutes in his last two games, and should be in line to see a similar workload against the Bucks. At a near minimum price of $4100, Cory Joseph will not have to see a high usage to smash value with the sheer amount of minutes he is currently seeing. Joseph is only averaging .82 FD points per minute this season, but even his low usage totals create a median that far exceeds the desired value for his cost. As mentioned above, there are no value plays that I would consider locks as of now, but Corey Joseph is my favorite cheap option of the day.
