NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 11/3/21

Following a day where we only had a limited number of games to pick from, today's main slate features 11 total games. There are not many days where we will have this many options to pick from, which will create more diverse ownership than on other slates. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

De'Aaron Fox ($7700) -

Much like NBA DFS for me, De'Aaron Fox is not off to the hottest of starts to kick off the season. So far on the season, Fox is shooting an abysmal 36.4% from the field and 15.4% from three. Despite these horrific shooting splits, Fox is still seeing a 28.57% usage rate when on the floor. It is hard to imagine that Fox will continue to play as poorly as he has been provided his role on the team, so once he gets his shot back, his fantasy production will return to what is expected from him. If there was ever a time for him to get back on track, it would be tonight in an enticing matchup against the Pelicans. Both the Pelicans and the Kings fall just inside the top 10 in pace so far this season, which should create for a high-scoring affair. At a price of $7700, take advantage of Fox before his price returns to normal.

Best Value:

Drew Eubanks (C/PF - $3700) -

With Jakob Poeltl expected to miss multiple games after entering the NBA's health and safety protocol, either Drew Eubanks or Thad Young will likely draw the start at center in his place. Both of them will have to pick up some of the minutes left over from Poeltl's absence, but I will be more interested in whatever player is in the starting lineup. Drew Eubank's is averaging 1.08 fantasy points per minute, so you would only need him to play around 25 minutes with that usage to be happy with his performance. Even though Thad Young is more expensive and has produced less in his play time, he would also be a terrific option at center if he draws the start. With D'Angelo Russell ruled out, Jordan McLaughlin would be another quality value option if he is included in the starting lineup tonight.
