NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 11/30/21

Tonight's NBA slate would be a day that I would usually choose to skip writing an article for since there are only 5 games, but I feel obligated to cover it tonight given how many slates I have missed recently. Since there are fewer games than usual with less player options, every lineup choice you make will be even more critical to your success than usual. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

CJ McCollum (SG - $7200) -

Damian Lillard, Norman Powell, and Nassir Little have all been ruled out for tonight's contest against the Pistons, which means that the rest of the players in the rotation will see a massive surge in value on this slate. Of the players on the team, the most obvious candidate to pick up the usage left off by their absences is CJ McCollum. McCollum has been a relatively consistent fantasy producer all season as he has only failed to score under 25 FD points three times. Averaging 35.2 points on the season, $7200 would be a great price to find McCollum at provided normal circumstances where the entire team was healthy. With the giant boost in usage that he should see tonight, that price becomes mouthwatering. Fitting multiple Trail Blazers in your lineup should be a priority on this slate, with CJ McCollum being one of the top two targets on the team.

Best Value:

Anfernee Simons (PG/SG - $4000) -

I mentioned that CJ McCollum was one of the top two players to target for the Trail Blazers tonight, which means that there is another player on the team that I am more intrigued by - that player is Anfernee Simons. Although both players will be very high owned and are my top priorities tonight, I slightly prefer Simons given the price and circumstance. Although McCollum will take a large share of the ball-handling duties left by Dame, Simons gets the bigger boost in value as he will be entering the starting lineup and will receive many more minutes without Dame, Powell, and Little, whereas McCollum was already seeing 30+ every night. Anfernee Simons is the top projected value on every model by large margins, and that shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. He has played excellent so far this season, and is in line to obliterate the 5x value threshold tonight with more opportunity.
