NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 11/5/21

Following a day where we only had a limited number of games to pick from, today's main slate features 9 total games. With there being a healthy amount of games tonight, there will be some diverse ownership with plenty of player options to consider. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

De'Aaron Fox (PG - $7500) -

De'Aaron Fox was my top play of the slate on Wednesday, in the last article I wrote. Unfortunately, Fox failed to have his breakout 2021 fantasy performance in that game like I expected as he only scored 31 FD points. The literal definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, so I guess I am insane. I am doubling down on De'Aaron Fox, and calling that tonight is the night he returns to fantasy success. Fox has only averaged 33.7 FD points per game this season, but I can't help but think that $7500 is still an insane price to find him at. He has played 34 minutes or more in every game this season and is still seeing high usage, he just needs to find his shot. The Hornets are slightly below average in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, so the matchup shouldn't be too imposing for Fox. De'Aaron Fox is going for 50 tonight.

Best Value:

Cade Cunningham (PG/SG - $4200) -

ree

After Cade Cunningham had a horrendous performance in his first game with no restrictions on Tuesday (yes, I rostered him), he saw his price dip down to $4600 for yesterday's slate. In his game yesterday, the Pistons used Cade as the primary playmaker, which resulted in him playing 31 minutes and producing 36 FD points. Fortunately for us, the prices for today's slate were created prior to yesterday's set of games, so his price has decreased even further to $4200. I would be willing to bet money that this will be the lowest price we will see Cade Cunningham all season. Even if he burnt you on Tuesday, I would take this free square and lock him in your lineup. $4200 is far too cheap for the first overall pick and his role with no limitations now. He is going to be extremely high-owned, but I see no reason to avoid this chalk.
