NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 11/8/21

After taking a two day break from NBA articles covering the main slates on FanDuel, I am back for today's main slate that features 8 total games. I desperately needed a new NBA week to come, as last week was quite literally the worst NBA week I have ever had. I am confident that I will be able to turn it around today. With there being a healthy amount of games tonight, there will be some diverse ownership with plenty of player options to consider. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

Andre Drummond (C - $5500) -

This will likely be a trend moving forward for the rest of the season - if Joel Embiid is out, lock Andre Drummond as the best play of the slate if priced anything reasonable. Joel Embiid will enter the league's healthy and safety protocol, which likely means that he will be missing a few games. I expect Drummond's price to skyrocket for the remainder of those games, but we can still take advantage of that situation tonight. Andre Drummond is $5500, which is substantially cheap for the production that he will see. In the last game without Embiid, Drummond scored 60 FD points in 33 minutes. I wouldn't go out and expect that performance from him again tonight, but his median is around 45 points, which is insane given his price. His ownership doesn't matter, put Andre Drummond in your lineup tonight and don't entertain any thoughts of trying to get different.

Best Value:

Frank Kaminsky (PF/C - $4300) -

Much like Andre Drummond, Frank Kaminsky benefits tremendously from a fantasy perspective with his team's starting center, DeAndre Ayton, ruled out. Ayton has already been ruled out for tonight with a lower leg injury, which means that Kaminsky is a terrific value option once again. JaVale McGee has drawn the start in favor of Kaminsky in recent games without Ayton, but the Suns have shown that they trust Kamisnky down the stretch more and will provide him with more minutes. In the two recent games without Ayton, Kaminsky has played 29 and 28 minutes, compared to just 17 and 19 from McGee. In both of those games, Frank Kaminsky was able to surpass 30 FD points, which is an excellent return on value for his price. Although not quite as much as Drummond, Kaminsky is going to draw a ton of ownership tonight, but I don't personally see a way around avoiding him unless you are max entering tournaments with different lineups.
