NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 12/13/21

The main slate tonight is a large one that features 9 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

Kyle Lowry (PG - $6900) -

Kyle Lowry has been producing in the absence of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, and his price hasn't risen enough to show that just yet. In his last 8 games, Lowry has eclipsed 35 FD points 6 times, which is already past 5x value at a cost of $6900. Four of those games resulted in performances of 39+ FD points, which even further diagnoses his superb production as of late. In his last two games without Jimmy and Bam, Lowry has scored 41 and 45 FD points. Those numbers indicate that his price should be somewhere around $8000, so he carries tremendous value tonight. While on the court this season without Jimmy and Bam, Lowry is averaging 1.09 FD points with a 22.7% usage rate, and I expect that usage rate to be closer to 30% tonight. Kyle Lowry is my favorite play on tonight's 9 game NBA slate.

Best Value:

Xavier Tillman (PF - $4500) -

I will start this segment off by saying that there is no chalk value option as things stand right now, which is abnormal, especially on a slate as large as this one. Of course, that is likely to change when we are given more injury news and starting lineups for tonight's contest, but usually by this point we at least have an easy plug and play priced under $5000. Although we don't quite have that yet, I expect that Xavier Tillman will be just that by roster lock time. Steven Adams is currently listed as doubtful to play, and Jaren Jackson is carrying a questionable tag. It is more likely that both of those players are out rather than both playing, and it only takes one being out to make Xavier Tillman an excellent play at $4500. If both are ultimately out, then he becomes a must play for me. In his last contest across only 23 minutes, Tillman was able to score 23 FD points. Given the right scenario, I expect Tillman to play more than that, which should put his median above 25 FD points. Pay attention to the injury news and starting lineups to target your value options tonight.
