NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 12/15/21

The main slate tonight is a large one that features 11 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

Kyle Lowry (PG - $7000) -

Kyle Lowry was my top play of the slate on Monday, and he retains that title once again tonight for many of the same reasons. Kyle Lowry has seen a drastic increase in production with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo sidelined, and now the Heat will also be without Tyler Herro, which means that his expected stat line should only increase tonight. While Lowry has been on the court without Butler, Bam, or Herro, he has seen a 25% usage rate while averaging 1.11 FD points per minute. Lowry has played over 35 minutes in each of his last 13 games without blowout, which puts his median much above 35 FD points tonight. As a matter of fact, Lowry has scored 35+ FD points in each of his last four games, and has only failed to reach that mark 3 times in his last 11 games. Despite his fantasy output as of late, Kyle Lowry has still managed to stay at a very reasonable price tag. His $7000 cost tonight is the highest it has been recently, but still is not nearly enough to satisfy the situation he is in. Kyle Lowry will be in my lineup tonight.

Best Value:

Armoni Brooks (SG - $4800) -

With an absurd amount of players currently in the league's healthy and safety protocols, there are a variety of players that are terrific options at a cost below $5000. Since there are so many options, it is difficult to select just one as the best value option. I decided to give that title to Armoni Brooks tonight because of the minutes and production he has seen as of late. I am going to disclose his most recent game where he left with injury for some time and only ended with 21 minutes, but prior to that, he had averaged over 30 minutes per game in his prior three games. In those games, he totaled 33, 35, and 29 FD points. All of those totals would easily exceed 6x value at his current price of $4800, and he falls into an even more appealing situation tonight. On top of Kevin Porter and Jalen Green who have been out for the last few games, the Rockets will also be without Eric Gordon and Christian Wood for tonight's contest. That opens up a lot of value for the rest of the roster, meaning that the Rockets are a solid stack option tonight. I expect Brooks to smash value once again.
