Following last night's main slate that had 9 total games, we have a much smaller slate for tonight with only 5 games. Since the slate is smaller than usual, the ownership will be more tight on players, meaning that each pick you make is even more important to your success than usual. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (PF/SF - $11000) -
Like he has been on so many nights, Giannis Antetokounmpo was my top play of the day on yesterday's slate, and is he my top play again tonight. That isn't to say that Giannis doesn't come with any risk on the slate today, but with there being limited spend up options to consider, it is very hard to pass up on him. In yesterday's article, I predicted that Giannis would score 60+ FD points in a juicy matchup against the Hornets, and he ended with 64. The matchup is once again a strong one for Giannis today, but the Bucks are in the second leg of a back-to-back, and there is blowout potential against a below average Raptors team. Even with these risk factors, it is tough to fade Giannis as he has the highest median and ceiling of any player on the slate by extreme margins, and he was questionably priced down even further to $11000. It is alright to fade him in some lineups if you are mass entering tournaments in case he doesn't see a full workload, but he is my top priority tonight.
Best Value:
Tyus Jones ($4600) -

With Ja Morant still not close to a return, and with no price increase, Tyus Jones is my favorite value play for tonight's slate. Tyus Jones drew the start as was expected in Tuesday's contest against the Raptors, and he played 34 minutes and scored 24 FD points. There is no reason to believe that Tyus Jones won't see similar minutes moving forward, which creates for terrific value at a sub $5000 price tag. At 30+ minutes, 24 FD points would be close to his floor, and even that number would be enough for him to exceed 5x value. Although he lacks prolific scoring ability, Jones is an excellent ball-handler, which means that his usage will be relatively high even if his production doesn't represent that. Tyus Jones will likely be priced accurately by the next slate, so take advantage of his cheap cost tonight.
