We started off the season strong! Yesterday for opening day, our lineup cashed in both cash games and tournaments relatively easily despite Anthony Davis having a less than impressive performance. Today marks the real opening day for NBA DFS, as we have a massive 13 game slate. There is tons of value at every position, so the lineups you are able to build are crazy until the pricing updates come in for future slates. Due to this, there is an unusually large amount of players in my player pool, and honestly, there are some other good plays that I didn't include since there are so many. Let's aim for 2-0 on the new season!
REMINDER: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow both accounts.
Top Play:
Luka Doncic - $11,400:
The most expensive player on the slate, but that doesn't mean much with all the value options available. With no Kristaps Porzingis, Luka should be doing it all. I want the player projected the most points in my lineup.
Best Value:
There are too many good value options to just pick one. Look at all of the cheap plays in my player pool if you are targeting one.
Fade:
Jayson Tatum - $9,800:
Although it probably won't be the case by the time the slate locks, Jayson Tatum is currently projected to be the second highest owned power forward on the slate. At $9,800, he carries a price tag that is close to within the likes of the top players such as Harden, Luka, and Giannis, so I would rather pay-up for those guys instead of getting a slight discount for Tatum. I don't see his median being around 50 points.

Luguentz Dort - $3,900
