The main slate tonight features 9 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Since there are so many games tonight. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Kyle Lowry (PG - $6500) -

The Heat will be without Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo once again tonight, which suggests that Kyle Lowry will be in for a substantial boost in usage. In a similar situation on Wednesday, Lowry disappointed with only 20 FD points across 28 minutes in a blowout loss to the Cavaliers. That unusual performance supplied us with an unwarranted price decrease down to $6500 for Lowry, which is way too cheap for the role he should take up. The Pacers are currently allowing the sixth most points per game, and they are just outside of the top ten in most points allowed to opposing point guards. Hopefully Kyle Lowry's last performance will drive his ownership down on tonight's slate because I am fully expecting him to bounce back in a big way. With a usage boost, plus matchup, and very reasonable price, I am all in on going back to Kyle Lowry tonight.
Best Value:
Cameron Johnson (SF - $3900) -
With Devin Booker sidelined in last night's game against the Pistons, Cameron Johnson played 27 minutes and scored 32 FD points. I was expecting him to draw the start in place of the injured Booker, but instead it was Landry Shamet who was inserted into the lineup. Even though Shamet should draw the start again tonight, I still prefer Cameron Johnson as the DFS option because of his production. Shamet is much more reliant on his scoring to produce whereas Cam Johnson can clean the glass and force turnovers. I project Cam Johnson's median to be around 25 points, and at a price of $3900, 25 FD points would be over 6x value. If you need salary relief and have a small forward spot available, Cam Johnson is the guy you will want to plug in your lineup.
