NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 2/11/21

We got back on track yesterday with a lineup that scored 312 points and cashed in both 50-50s and GPPs, despite Clint Capela scoring a measly 16 FD points. For today, we have one of the smaller slates with 5 total games to pick players from. Although some positions may be on the chalky side, I think there will be enough variety to be able to make a distinguishable lineup from the rest of the field. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.

Top Play:

Joel Embiid - $10,800:

Joel Embiid is the most reliable fantasy producer of all the superstars on the small slate tonight as he averages over 4 FD points per game more than the second highest scoring player on the slate, Damian Lillard. In Embiid's last match-up against the Trail Blazers, he had over 40 FD points at half time, but saw limited action in the second half due to a blow out and the 6ers wanting to play it safe since he suffered an injury earlier in that game. Also, the PHI-POR game has the highest implied total on the slate. It is frustrating that Fanduel only lets you play one center, because that is the position that I would like to stack today. You don't need to lock Embiid since you only have one center, but he is the best play of the slate in my eyes.

Best Value:

Seth Curry - $4,100:

As aforementioned, the PHI-POR game has the highest implied total on the slate, which means that it should be a relatively fast-paced affair. Shake Milton is doubtful to play today, so Seth Curry has no threat of losing minutes, and instead should see a little bit of extra run. He has played 55 minutes in his last two games, and has scored over 25 FD points in both. We know that the Blazers don't like to play defense, so I can see a big scoring day ahead for Curry. There are no other clear options to play at shooting guard, so Seth Curry at $4,100 is in my core as of now.

Main Player Pool:

Point Guard:

Malcolm Brogdon - $7,200

Kemba Walker - $5,500

Kendrick Nunn - $5,000

Other great plays: Stephen Curry - $10,500, Damian Lillard - $10,000, Cole Anthony - $5,400 (if he plays), Frank Mason - $4,200 (if Cole Anthony doesn't play)

Shooting Guard:

Tyler Herro - $5,800

Josh Jackson - $5,500

Seth Curry - $4,100

Other great plays: Andrew Wiggins - $6,600, Terrence Ross - $5,200

Small Forward:

Jimmy Butler - $8,700

Juan Toscano-Anderson - $5,200

Danny Green - $3,700

Other great plays: Jaylen Brown - $8,400, Jerami Grant - $8,200

Power Forward:

Chris Boucher - $6,400

Blake Griffin - $5,100

Daniel Theis - $4,900

Other great plays: Jayson Tatum - $9,500, Damontas Sabonis - $9,300, Bam Adebayo - $9,000, Tobias Harris - $7,800

Center:

Joel Embiid - $10,800

Enes Kanter - $6,500

Tristan Thompson - $4,800

Other great plays: Nikola Vucevic - $9,800, Myles Turner - $6,800, DeMarcus Cousins - $6,000

Core/Lineup:

My core 3 are Kemba Walker, Seth Curry, and Joel Embiid.
