An early Devonte' Graham injury killed our lineup last night, but luckily I was able to make back lost money on the After Hours lineup that I ended up tweeting. We have an average sized slate tonight with 7 total games, which is just enough for me to feel confident on lineup variety with good low-owned options. We are still waiting on news from Embiid and a few other players, which is bound to shake up the slate. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.
Top Play:
James Harden - $10,600:
James Harden has taken a step back with his scoring since joining the big three in Brooklyn, but his fantasy value has stayed very high due to his newly found play-making ability. In his last 14 games, Harden has had over 10 assists in 12 of them, which is a pretty insane stat. Without KD tonight, Harden and Irving will have to carry more of the scoring load, which is why I have Harden as my top play of the day. The Kings rank dead last in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards, so every sign points towards a Harden explosion.
Best Value:
Reggie Jackson - $4,600:
The Clippers are going to be without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George again tonight which opens up numerous terrific value options on the team. Almost everyone who has seen minutes when either of Leonard or George have been out are going to be in my player pool for today, but Reggie Jackson is my favorite play of them all. Last night, Reggie Jackson was able to hit value on one of his less efficient games when either of the aforementioned players were hurt. He played 31 minutes, and there is no reason why he shouldn't see that again. $4,600 is too cheap for me to pass on, which is why Reggie Jackson is a lock for me today.
