Once again, a stellar after hours slate (that I posted for all to use on twitter) bailed me out from losing money last night with my poor main slate lineup. I faded John Wall, which ended up being my demise. There is no real after hours slate today (starts at 8), so I need to ensure that my main slate lineup doesn't let me down again. For today, we have a slightly smaller slate with 6 total games, but I am still fairly comfortable with that amount. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.
Top Play:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - $11,200:
As of late, Giannis has been an absolute monster on the basketball court, and in DFS lineups. In his last three games, he has totaled 72, 65, and 69 FD points, which is extremely good production. This level of production is largely to do with the fact that Giannis has played over 35 minutes in each of those games, and his already sky high usage has gone up without Jrue Holiday. The Raptors are a respectable opponent, so Giannis should get those minutes again tonight. You don't have to lock him in with other good stars on the slate like Harden, LeBron, and Jokic in excellent spots, but he will be a part of my core today, especially since the position is so weak.
Best Value:
Jarred Vanderbilt - $4,000:
I would be lying if I said that this was one of the better slates for value. At least with how things are looking now, there are only a few plays under $5,000 that look appealing, although I expect more news to come that could change this. If Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot starts, then he will overtake this spot, but Jarred Vanderbilt holds it as things stand right now. With the return of KAT, Vanderbilt has seen his minutes decrease rapidly, but he was able to produce 29 FD points across 23 minutes in his last showing. Overall, the power forward position on this slate is extremely weak, so I like taking a chance on Vanderbilt at $4,000 and hoping that he sees the minutes. Bobby Portis is also a shot you can take if you can afford $900 more. If Monte Morris plays, he is also a candidate for best value.

Point Guard:
Damian Lillard - $9,500
Ja Morant - $7,100
Jamal Murray - $6,500

James Harden - $11,000
Fred VanVleet - $7,500
Dillon Brooks - $5,300
Other great plays: Devin Booker - $8,300, Donte DiVincenzo - $5,100, Eric Bledsoe - $4,800
Small Forward:
LeBron James - $10,500
Khris Middleton - $7,500
Michael Porter Jr. - $5,500
Other great plays: Mikal Bridges - $5,300, Kenrich Williams - $5,200, Joe Harris - $5,200, Cameron Johnson - $3,900, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot - $3,800 (excellent if he starts)
