We are starting to get a little hot! Last night, my lineup scored 313 points, which was enough to easily cash in all formats, ultimately giving me a 5x return on money. Three nights ago, the lineup had a similar performance, so things are looking on the up right now. The main slate tonight features 9 games with plenty of solid options to choose from. With injury news still looming for some of the later games, late swaps might be utilized. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.
Top Play:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - $11,300:
Yes, Giannis is coming off a back-to-back where he played 37 minutes. Yes, he plays a pretty weak Thunder team tonight. Yes, he slightly disappointed owners as he fouled out yesterday. Yes, I still do want to play him. Curry, Jokic, and Embiid are the only other players priced over $10k on this slate, and you can still get to one of them pretty easily with Giannis. While he would have been a reduced minutes candidate in games like this not too long ago, it seems like the Bucks have finally set him free with playing over 35 minutes on a consistent basis. Knowing my luck, this could be the game where that changes, but I am still feeling comfortable with him as he has played over 35 minutes in his last five games, and the only time he scored under 65 FD points in those games was yesterday. Giannis is still a core play of mine for today.
Best Value:
Cedi Osman - $4,200:
Cedi Osman is a free square for anyone making a lineup today. Larry Nance and Taurean Prince are still out for the Cavs, while Andre Drummond is being held out while they seek to trade him, which means that Osman is going to see 30+ minutes with ease. In the Cavaliers last game with the same situation, Cedi Osman played 35 minutes and scored 36 FD points. At $4,200, he is a must play, although I am sure everyone else will have that same mindset. This is chalk that you don't want to avoid.
