Despite having great plays in Dejounte Murray, Mike Conley, Josh Jackson, and Jarrett Allen last night, my lineup was unable to finish in the money. As of now, the main slate for today isn't looking as glamorous as the last few days, but there are still plenty of options to make it easily playable. In totality, there are six games to choose players from. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - $11,400:
As long as Giannis keeps producing as he has been, he will be my top play of the slate on any day that he plays. He has scored over 62 FD points in seven of his last eight games, which is an incredible feat. 62 FD points would be well over 5x value for Giannis, and that has to be well within his median given recent games. The Pelicans like to play at a relatively fast-pace, which is all the more reason to stick with Giannis. On a slate that has a ton of wildcards and question marks, playing Giannis is one of the easiest decisions you can make.
Best Value:
Seth Curry - $4,000:
I am going to be brutally honest, I don't even like Seth Curry that much today. However, this slate severely lacks value, and you are going to have to make a few salary relief plays if you want to have any shot at cashing. Of the cheap options, I like Seth Curry the most given that he has played over 34 minutes in all of the last six games that he has played. Even with those immense minutes, Seth Curry is easily capable of putting up bad production, but he is also capable of smashing value. There is a chance that I don't even play Curry if there is news that changes the slate, but as of now, he is in my core.
