Yesterday, my lineup finished about 10 points over the cashing threshold in GPPs, comfortably putting me in the money. I wouldn't classify it as a great night, but any profit is good profit. I have now hit in tournaments two of the last three days, which is a ratio I will always take. The main slate tonight features 9 games, so there is a safe number of player options to construct lineups around, although we don't have many of the big stars (Giannis, Luka, Harden, Jokic, Embiid all not on the slate). As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
De'Aaron Fox - $7,800:
All of the indicators are pointing towards a repeat performance of the fantasy production that De'Aaron Fox was able to put up last night. In that game, Fox scored 47 FD points across 38 minutes, and he is in a significantly better situation today. He faces off against the worst team in the league in the Pistons, and should see slightly more minutes with higher usage down the stretch with Tyrese Haliburton being unlikely to play. At $7,800, you are asking for 38 FD points from Fox, and I project him for well over that today.
Best Value:
Bismack Biyombo - $3,500:
Cody Zeller is expected to sit today, which opens up a lot of starter minutes for Bismack Biyombo at the minimum price on Fanduel. I do expect the Hornets to run a lot of small ball with PJ Washington at center, but Biyombo should still see a run of 22+ minutes. In fact, Biyombo has seen 20+ minutes in all but one of his last five contests, and those were with Zeller. You only need 18 FD points for Biyombo to hit value, and I expect him to score somewhere closer to 25.
