NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 2/3/21

With last night's lineup cashing again, we are now 2-0 on the new month. I didn't roster any of the smash plays such as Fred VanVleet, Kawhi Leonard, or Damontas Sabonis, but everyone I played did their job and scored over 27 FD points, except for Kelly Oubre. On today's agenda, we have 10 games with tons of great options to choose from when building your lineup. Below, I will highlight those plays that I will be considering when making my final lineup construction. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.

Top Play:

Giannis Antetokoumnpo - $11,200:

Aside from the Bucks' last blowout win over the Blazers where he only played 25 minutes, Giannis has been putting up stellar fantasy performances as of late. Excluding that game, in his last six showings, he has scored 72, 66, 60, 54, 38, and 64 FD points. The Pacers are a good team, so I don't think a blowout is likely, which means that Giannis should see over 35 minutes of playtime. Damontas Sabonis and Myles Turner are excellent players on the interior, but the Pacers are still around the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards and centers. I think Giannis is safe for 50, while still having the insanely high upside that he always brings to the table.

Best Value:

Hamidou Diallo - $4,300:

Both of the primary ball-handlers for the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and George Hill, are both out tonight. The Thunder backcourt will be very thin for this game, with Theo Maledon and Hamidou Diallo likely being the main beneficiaries of increases in minutes and usage. Although Maledon is an excellent option, I decided to go with Diallo as the better value play because he is $500 cheaper, and has seen better fantasy points per minute return when on the court. In recent games, Diallo has struggled to get on the court for 20 minutes or more, but I don't see a world where he doesn't play 25+ tonight.

LaMelo Ball - $6,600 (if Rozier doesn't play)

Darius Garland - $5,800

Ish Smith - $4,600

Shooting Guard:

DeMar DeRozan - $7,200

Devonte' Graham - $5,500 (even better if Rozier sits)

Hamidou Diallo - $4,300

Other great plays: Bradley Beal - $10,800, Paul George - $8,400, Victor Oladipo - $8,200, D'Angelo Russell - $7,400, Collin Sexton - $6,800, Tyrese Haliburton - $5,600, Jeremy Lamb - $5,300, Tim Hardaway Jr. - $5,300, Alec Burks - $4,800, Cam Reddish - $4,600, Kevin Huerter - $4,500, Donte DiVincenzo - $4,000
