NBA DFS Picks For FanDuel 2/8/22

The main slate tonight is a larger sized one with 10 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

Brandon Ingram (SF - $7800) -

We have officially arrived at trade deadline season with the two blockbuster trades that took place earlier today. The Pacers traded Sabonis, Lamb, and Holiday in exchange for Haliburton, Hield, and Thompson from the Kings. Also, the Trail Blazers blew up their operation by shipping McCollum and Nance to the Pelicans for Hart, Alexander-Walker, and a few other pieces. All four of the teams involved in those trades are playing tonight, which means that there are going to be many terrific plays since the new arrivals won't be ready quite yet. Of the plays on those teams, and across the entire slate, my favorite mid-tier spend up option is Brandon Ingram. Although he was already seeing heavy usage, it should only increase further tonight as Hart will no longer be in the starting lineup. Ingram gets a matchup against the worst defensive team in the NBA, the Rockets, so he should be in line to produce across all levels. He was able to score 63 FD points in his last game against this same team, so similar results could be in store tonight. Brandon Ingram carries a friendly salary of $7800, which is not indicative of his last three showings of 63, 54, and 42 FD points.

Best Value:

Chris Duarte (SF - $5000) -

As aforementioned, the Pacers were one of the teams involved in a blockbuster deal earlier today. With Caris LeVert and Damontas Sabonis no longer on the team, and with Malcolm Brogdon still listed as questionable, Chris Duarte should be the main scorer for the team tonight. Duarte has shined in similar situations to this all season long, so I fully expect him to crush value at his cheap price of $5000.
