Even though two of my core players, Zach LaVine (46 FD points) and Khris Middleton (63 FD points) had huge games yesterday, our lineup still finished right outside the cash line for most 50-50s and GPPs, although I was able to hit in a couple of them. We have a slightly smaller slate today with 7 total games, but that is still enough for me to be content with the number of player options. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date, especially since this an earlier than usual article. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change.
Top Play:
Dejounte Murray - $6,800:
Last night, we saw Dejounte Murray explode for 65 FD points against the same Warriors team that he will match-up against again today. Although I am far from expecting similar production, I do love Murray's chances of hitting value at $6,800 in a fast-paced game. He has been priced over $7k for much of the season, and tonight he falls under that range in as good of a situation that you could ask for. Although Lonnie Walker is returning today, Derrick White will rest, so there shouldn't be any big changes in minutes. Murray's median should be close to 40 FD points.
Best Value:
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot - $3,800 (if he starts):
Compared to many of the previous slates, this slate doesn't have as many intriguing sub $5k player options, although there are still numerous solid ones. This value play is contingent on Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot starting due to the inconsistent minutes he has been seeing. If he doesn't start, I will likely remove him from my player pool, but he managed to see 33 minutes in the Nets last game while he started. At a near minimum price of $3,800, if he starts, then I will love his chances of smashing value and reaching 25 FD points.
