I am back with my first article since the All-Star break! Last night, I was able to cash in all contest types despite some poor performances from a few players on the small two game slate. Hopefully, we can follow that trend and hit in all formats again today. The main slate features 11 games, so there won't be many better slates than today. With some injuries still, there are plenty of strong value options available to round off lineups. Since there are so many games, my player pool will be larger than usual.
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Tobias Harris - $6,900:
Tobias Harris is going to be uber chalk. He sees his lowest price in sometime at just $6,900, and he couldn't possibly be in a better situation to smash value. The 76ers are going against the Bulls without Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, which means that Harris's usage is going to skyrocket. Tobias Harris will 100% be in my lineup, and I would highly recommend you lock him in too, even if there are tons of great plays today.
Best Value:
Dwight Howard - $3,800:
There are many different players that you could label as the best value player on this slate. Some of these players include Ricky Rubio, Shake Milton, Jaylen Nowell, Jake Layman, Stanley Johnson, Kelly Olynyk, and Justin Patton. However, I decided to go with Dwight Howard as the top man simply due to his fantasy point per minute production. At 1.27 FPM, he has the best usage of all the value guys, so minutes are the only question, and he is in line to see a lot tonight. I don't have any of the value guys in my core just because there are so many good ones, but I will certainly be playing many of them.
