What a return to the NBA we have had! In the first two main slates since the All-Star break, both of my lineups have cashed in all contest types. Last night, the lineup scored 355 points behind great showing from Brunson, Butler, Boucher, and Howard, with the only real miss in the line being Brandon Ingram. On the main slate for today, we have 7 games with a plethora of cheap options due to the rosters that the Rockets, Magic, Spurs, and other teams will be putting out with injuries. The slate truly is a mess with value. Let's make it three in a row since the break! As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Joel Embiid - $10,700:
One of the DFS story lines this season has been how much opposing centers terrorize the Wizards, and Embiid gets the draw against them today. In his last eight games, Embiid has scored over 60 FD points four times, with one crazy game of 94. To add even more of a bonus to his DFS value today, the 76ers will be without Ben Simmons again, which only gives Embiid even more usage and production. The only reason that Joel Embiid is not a must play is because Kelly Olynyk is in a terrific spot at the same position, but I would highly suggest playing one of those two. Embiid is in my core because there are too many good value options to not play the best option on the slate, but Kelly is excellent too.
Best Value:
Sterling Brown - $3,600:
With John Wall and Victor Oladipo not playing today, the Rockets are in serious need of a primary ball-handler. I expect that player to be Sterling Brown, and he has a near minimum price of $3,600. Kevin Porter Jr. can carry some of the handling load as well, but there is too much open usage to pass on Brown at his cost. Truly, any player on the Rockets active roster for today is a good option to choose for your lineup. Since there are so many strong value plays, many of them won't be in my core, although I will certainly have some of them in my lineup.

Malcolm Brogdon - $6,600
Michael Carter-Williams - $4,900
