NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 3/13/21

My short hot streak came to an end last night as the lineup took the first loss since the break. With it having Russell Westbrook and Tobias Harris in a blowout, and Joel Embiid getting injured at the start of the second half, things were looking down from the start. Fortunately for us, we have the opportunity to bounce back today with a stellar line. The slate has 7 total games which is just enough for me to feel comfortable with the variety. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.

Top Play:

Giannis Antetokounmpo - $11,300:

Unless there is a clear and obvious best play of the slate, you have probably come to expect me to have Giannis in this spot. On Thursday, I had Giannis out of my lineup for the first time in at least five slates where he played, and that was just due to the excellent options in other places. Today, he has a desirable match-up with the Wizards where he should be able to get any bucket in the lane that he wants. There is some blow out potential as the Wizards are without Bradley Beal, but if there is one, he was probably the cause of it anyway.

Best Value:

Jaylen Nowell - $3,600:

Jaylen Nowell scored 47 FD points across 28 minutes in the Timberwolves blow out win on Thursday. The blow out was part of the reason why he saw those minutes, but he has played over 20 in each of the last four games. Coming off of an excellent performance, I can see Nowell getting some coaches love as the main producer in the second unit on good minutes today. Also, the Timberwolves have a very good match-up against a bad defensive team in the Trail Blazers.
