The main slate tonight is a massive sized one with 12 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:

Giannis Antetokounmpo (PF/SF - $11400) -

Giannis Antetokounmpo is an excellent DFS option in tough matchups, which is a testament to his elite fantasy profile. He is the second highest fantasy producer this season just behind leading MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, so his floor and ceiling are worthy of consideration on a daily basis. However, Giannis finds himself in a desirable situation which elevates him over the rest of the higher salaried players on tonight's large slate. His matchup against the Kings carries the second highest implied total of any of the twelve games tonight, and the Kings are the second worst team in the league at defending opposing big men. Giannis is one of the players that I will be locking into my lineup on this slate.

Best Value:

Will Barton (SG/SF - $4900) -

Will Barton has seen a steady price decrease as of late, but his current salary of $4900 is far too cheap for his usual production. Barton is averaging 28.5 FD points per game on the season which should warrant a price closer to $6000. That average isn't taking into account the game script for Barton as well, and he has a beneficial one tonight. The Nuggets have a team total of 118, which is higher than they bring into most of their games. You don't have to play Barton tonight with the quantity of options we have, but he is an easy spend down play.
