NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 3/18/21

The main slate lineup yesterday failed to cash on the extremely high scoring slate despite finishing with just under 350 points, marking the first loss in the last four days. A bad day was due with the luck I was having, so I can't be too mad that the streak was broken. Luckily for me, I was able to make all my lost money on the After Hours slate with the lineup that I posted on Twitter. The slate for tonight is on the smaller side with 6 total games, but there are still plenty of great options to choose from. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.

Top Play:

Chris Paul - $6,900:

$6,900 is too cheap for Chris Paul. Paul will face off against the Timberwolves tonight, who are one of the worst defenses in the league, and come dead last in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards. In his last four games, Paul has scored 40, 38, 34, and 36 FD points, all totals that you would take at his current price. There is some blow out potential in this game, but I don't like to factor that much in my projections. With PG being one of the stronger positions on the small slate, you don't need to lock in CP3, but he is a member of my core as of now.

Best Value:

Alec Burks - $4,500:

With Derrick Rose, Immanuel Quickley, and Elfrid Payton all out for the Knicks tonight, their remaining guards are going to need to step up and play the extra minutes. Of these guards, Alec Burks is the standout guy to target in DFS contests. Burks should play well over 30 minutes tonight, and at a price tag of $4,500, he should be one of the easiest guys to hit value on the slate. Alec Burks is a part of my core.
